The first set I purchased alittle over a year ago (from Amazon.com), and they lasted longer than I expected. I just received the 2nd set alittle over a week ago, and have threw the older set away. Before I purchased this 2nd set, I purchased 2 King Size Pillows from our local Wal-Mart, needless to say the pillows I purchased from Wal-mart did not last even a month before they were flat, lifeless, and very uncomfortable. We had to throw them away. Since I had got over a year with the first set of these pillows, I decided to purchase another set. I have to say they last a quite bit longer than I expect any pillow to last. It states that these pillows are "gel" filled, however you can not feel that there is any gel in them. They are quite comfortable, and I sleep a lot better using them. I have also noticed that my fiancee does not snore as loud or much when using one of these pillows as opposed to using any other pillows. I would rather pay .00 for 2 of these and they last as long as they have then go to Wal-mart pay .00 each for the other pillows and they lasted less than a month. In my opinion this set of pillows is the better bargain! I highly recommend these pillows to anyone, as they are very comfortable, last a long time, and are well worth the money you pay for them.
